MY JOURNEY
In February 2007 I fired my Boss.
I had been working in the corporate world for several years and one day I just couldn’t do it any longer, I felt constrained and had that sick feeling every morning, boy was I miserable – something was definitely wrong and after a meeting with my bosses I walked.
At the time I had been researching metaphysics, law of attraction and all things spiritual and I knew there were more rewarding things that I could do with my life other than trading my time for money (better late than never!).
I had saved a little money and got a casual 2 day a week job. It was then that I began my 18 month journey looking for that “something” that was missing in my life.
I also started to confront fear – I had an extreme fear of heights so started to challenge myself - I hiked down the highest sea cliffs in the world, parasailed, paraglided, rode down the highest paved mountain in the world on a bike and took lessons flying a plane, I even learnt to stall the plane – man did that take me out of my comfort zone, but where was I heading?
I searched the internet daily, signed up for all sorts of e-courses and newsletters and discovered THETA HEALING which gives you the tools to create your own reality by changing limiting beliefs.
In September 2007, I was gifted a ticket to Christopher Howard’s “Breakthrough to Success” 3 day seminar. Christopher Howard teaches you to maximize your potential, keys to empowerment, what drives success and how to achieve your goals. So for the first time, I seriously wrote my goals down with time frames.
Soon after attending this seminar I “stumbled” across 21st Century Academy and Jamie McIntyre while surfing the internet. I ordered the free DVD and e-book. Even after reading and viewing these, I had the thought “is this all too good to be true?” Then in May 2008 I got an email inviting me to attend the 21st Century Academy’s 3 day Women’s Seminar.
To cut a long story short I bought the Homestudy program at the women’s seminar and my husband and I flew to the Gold Coast 2 weeks later to attend our first 4- day event with Jamie.
It felt like I had come home and that I belonged. 
There were so many like-minded people all on a similar journey. Jamie spoke to us for 2 days about the psychology of wealth. He taught us that the first step is becoming aware (of what we link pleasure & pain too) and then about changing your physiology, making decisions and taking massive action, working to learn not to earn, he taught that taking responsibility for everything that happens to you is empowering and that to get you must first give. Most importantly, Jamie taught about having GRATITUDE daily for everything that happens in your life both good & bad.

For me, joining 21st Century Homestudy was a quality decision. I now have an Internet Business, I trade covered calls(rent shares) have invested my superannuation in a strategy that protects me no matter what the current market does and best of all, as a family our goals are aligned – we are all on the same page. The list of goals I originally wrote has a lot of ticks on it, already achieved and I now have new goals.
Jamie has a saying “if you’re not growing you’re dying”. Life really is all about growing in all areas of your life. If there’s something missing in your life take action NOW.
As I am writing this story about my journey, I am reminded that there is nothing random about any of the events that have happened. There is something more than just us, there is a bigger picture and all that each and every one of us need do is take that first step.
